This beauty is a real dragonfly that I have preserved forever by electroforming her in pure copper. she has a hand-aged patina, and I've added some wire wrapped details, including a pink conch shell heart, to her center. she also features a labradorite circle in her center.
She comes on a pyrite rosary style chain for hanging. What a beautiful addition to your plant room, window or altar!
Unique and one of a kind.
The process of electroforming is tedious and unpredictable. Insects can be particularly challenging because of the fragile nature of a dried insect. The plating process takes between 30-40 hours and requires constant monitoring.
It's important to note that no insects are harmed or killed for my work. All the bugs I use are found already deceased. It's my way of honouring them.
Thank you for looking at her, I hope she brings you joy!
