This piece is created from wings of moths I've found over the years that were less than perfect. Each moth was found already deceased--no insects are harmed for my work! There is beauty in decay. The moth wings you see are real wings. I don't want to waste them just because they might have been bent or are missing a section. They are still beautiful as they are!
 
I've sandwiched assorted wings and tiny real leaves between panes of hexagonal glass. It comes on a brass chain, ready for hanging.
 
The piece measures approx. 6"D and is completely handmade.
