Stones are the stoic keepers of earth’s energy. When I select one for my work, that stone becomes my connection to the spirit of the land. Each spiral and loop I form in the wire becomes part of a harmonious link between earth and soul. My inspiration often comes from walks in the woods, where a fern’s graceful tendrils or a leaf’s curvy contours are reflected in the wrap I create in my studio. I prefer to work with stones that are natural and undyed, as well as silver and copper. Each piece is unique and completely hand worked, no wigjigs or coilers are used. My goal in making jewelry is to design pieces that synergize vision with adornment to create a piece of unique and cherishable wearable art.
